Redeemer Presbyterian Church is organizing an emergency supply drive in cooperation with the Charles H. Jones Family Disaster Response Center in Rome, GA (a ministry of the PCA-MNA) to show the love of Christ to those affected by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. RPC Family Ministries Director Jake Tassy and HCA parent Crissa Krikke are leading this effort.
WHAT WE ARE DOING:
In partnership with RPC, HCA is collecting supplies and assembling Flood Clean-Up Buckets, Hygiene Kits and Bedding Kits. For details on supplies needed for each kit, click here. Our goal is 100 of each type of kit.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
There are FOUR key ways you can contribute NOW: (1) Donate supplies; (2) Organize supplies and/or assemble kits; (3) Donate financially; and (4) Pray.
1. DONATE SUPPLIES
Bring your supplies and/or pre-assembled kits to the lobby of either HCA campus by Wednesday, September 20th. You will see sample kits in the collection stations at each location.
2. ORGANIZE / ASSEMBLE
Come to East Campus Gym on Friday, September 22nd from 6:00-8:00 PM to help assemble remaining kits.
3. GIVE FINANCIALLY
One of the best and easiest ways you can help is by donating funds for the purchase of supplies in bulk. To donate, please bring a check payable to Heritage Christian Academy (Memo: Hurricane Relief) to the office at either campus no later than Tuesday, September 19th so that we have time to purchase the items for assembly.
The Lord invites—even exhorts—us in Scripture to come to Him in prayer, inviting Him to bring His redemptive touch to the world in all circumstances (Rom. 12:12; Eph. 6:18, Col. 4:2, Php. 4:6, etc.). Not only does He delight to respond to our prayers, but He even speaks and ministers to us through them.
